GEMINI Ceramic Processing Systems
Convergent Prima, formally the Coherent Industrial Group. has been
credited with developing the use of laser technology for processing
ceramics and introducing the first ceramic scribing systems in the late
1960s. Since that early pioneering effort the company has supplied
hundreds of systems to service the microelectronic industry. As the
ceramic industry has matured and taken advantage of new technologies, so
too have the ceramic processing systems offered by Convergent Prima. |
Convergent
Prima's current line of Gemini Ceramic Processing Systems for scribing,
cutting and drilling utilizes the latest in compact, sealed CO2
laser technology, user-friendly PC controls, closed loop ball screw or
linear motor tables, and auto-vision for accurate alignment.
The Gemini is a production proven, turn-key CO2
laser system based on more than 30 years experience in laser system design
and a thorough and continuous product development program. The
Gemini is compact, yet ruggedly built. Developed to scribe, drill,
and cut ceramic substrates and green tape, the Gemini System offers
flexible solutions for today's manufacturing environment. |
